A Welcome, from the EXECUTIVE CHAIRPERSON

The media is filled with numerous examples of negative narratives of young people in South Africa. We at the 100 Black Men Movement, seek to change those narratives, determined to create positive examples through positive actions and experiences.

Our young people are achieving wonderful things, and all possess the potential for greatness. They will see a better way through our intervention and turn their lives around; we are so proud of them as an organisation that we will celebrate them and ensure their accomplishments are recognised.

The young people are the future and with us the future is bright, the future is our diamonds, and they are learning to understand the challenges they face and how to overcome them in a responsible manner that adds value to them, their community and the society at large.

At the 100 BMM, our vision is to be the leading youth and community development organisation that UPLIFTS our community and empowers our youth to be the best versions of themselves.

I believe Together We Can realise our vision, which is why there has never been a better time to collaborate with us as we are eager to build new productive alliances and work together with socially responsible partners to UPLIFT, ENGAGE, INSPIRE our young people positively along with members of our society.

History of the Movement

The 100 Black Men Movement is established in 2026, when a concerned group of Black men and women came together to develop a global organisation to implement programmes designed to improve the quality of life in their community.

The founding members included Jeff Nage, his wife, Nomfundo Nage and other community personalities.

The success of this initial organisation will lead to the establishment of other chapters (divisions) all over Southern Africa leading to the formation of the 100 Black Men Movement of Southern Africa, and the 100 Black Men Movement Africa.

With over 10 chapters across the Southern Africa (South Africa’s cities and SADC), will become the biggest international chapter.

We will create and deliver a wide range of great programmes including our accredited Community Mentoring Programme (100 UPLIFT Rite Of Passage), 100 Book Club, Parent & Child Camping, Education through leadership programme, Family Fun Day, Leadership Development Programme, Audience with our Children debate, Black History Challenge, and more.
